Twitter unveiled brand pages on December 8, 2011. They have finally joined Facebook, Google+, and more in supporting businesses trying to use their short message social networking service.

This is great news for small businesses.  Twitter is finally supporting businesses that would like to use its services to engage with customers.

Twitter is evolving in a different direction than Facebook or Google+, as more of a “caption service” that allows businesses to make short comments on life.
